This is a weather update from the Lomira School District.
Based upon further updates on road conditions, the School District of Lomira will be CLOSED Thursday, February 23, 2023. We apologize for the late notice and the inconvenience for families but feel it is the right decision to do for the safety of our school community.
Lomira School District is on a 2 hour delay Thursday, February 23, 2023. Morning 4K and Early Childhood are canceled
We have been made aware that one of the local media outlets is reporting that Lomira School District is closed Thursday. That information is inaccurate. A decision about school will be made Thursday morning and will be communicated to families.
Congratulations to Sectional Champions and State qualifiers Makenna Hanke and Kara Kuge. They will be representing Lomira at the WIAA tournament in the Kohl center beginning next Thursday.
Due to the impending winter weather, the Lomira School District will be CLOSED on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. This includes ALL activities. Thank you and have a nice evening.
The Lomira School district has an established Medical Emergency Response Team composed of 31 staff members under the coordination of Chelsea Feucht, BSN, RN, School District Nurse. We have recently been recognized as Heart Safe School Designation through Project ADAM for both the Theresa and Lomira campus.
NO SCHOOL Monday, February 20th, and Tuesday, February 21st. Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday the 20th from 4:30 to 7 and Tuesday the 21st from 1-6:30. Tuesday the 21st is also a digital learning day for grades 6-12

4K PM Thursday, February 9th, 2023 is canceled due to the snow.
4th grade students from Mrs. Rodriguez’s class worked on strumming chords on ukuleles last week. The instruments were purchased with funds provided by the LAEEF grant. These instruments help students improve in their music literacy and performing skills, and build community in their classroom.
Congratulations to the LHS Class of 2023 Valedictorian Jaye Zingsheim and Salutatorian Brianna Casey! Great job ladies!
The Open Enrollment window is now open through April 28, 2023. If you have already signed up, you do NOT need to do it again. If you have not or know someone that may be interested, please share with them.

Lomira Middle School proudly presents HOTEL FAIRY TALE, an original play written and directed by Nick Brettingen (a.k.a. Mr. B!)
Showtimes: Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 @ 7pm / Sunday, February 5 @ 2pm
Synopsis: Welcome to Hotel Fairy Tale, where fairy tales come to rest…for eternity? Winnifred, the Head of Housekeeping, is dead! Join Detectives Jamie and Wilhelm Grimm as they interrogate each and every suspect, including Winnifred’s future in-laws, a clueless jester, a goth Goldilocks, a wolf with a bad reputation, some thieving pigs, and one very angry Papa Bear. The audience will enjoy navigating their way through the maze of suspects one hilarious scene after another. This family-friendly fairy tale in two acts will keep them guessing and laughing until the last shocking scene.
Tickets: $5 at the door. All students free of charge Friday (February 3) night
