Lomira and Theresa K-5 Winter Concert is Wednesday, December 6th, at 1:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. in the Lomira Elementary Gym. All K-5 students in the district will perform in one night! Hope to see everyone there.

Carter Hahn finished 4th at the WIAA Sectional Championships in Kenosha on Saturday and qualififed for the WIAA State Championship next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids. Great job Carter!
Girls- The girls team finished 2nd at the WIAA Sectional Championships in Kenosha on Saturday. They have earned their ticket to the WIAA State Championships next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids! Way to go Coaches and Team!


Student Flu Clinic consent due October 24th. The Student Flu Clinic is October 30th and 31st.

Leading financial education nonprofit Next Gen Personal Finance has recognized Lomira High School as one of 199 NGPF Gold Standard Schools in WI because we require a standalone personal finance course!
With 23 states - and quickly growing - now requiring this course for all high school students, NGPF celebrates the high schools, like Lomira, that are ahead of this exciting trend.
Congratulations to Lomira High School for teaching real-life skills like budgeting, credit management, career preparation, and beyond!

October 1st - 6th we celebrate Wisconsin School Board Week. We want to recognize and thank the members of our Board for their time and dedication to our students and community.

This evening bus 23 (yellow bus) was struck by another vehicle at approximately 6:30 P.M. in Lomira at the corner of Church and Milwaukee Street in Lomira. No students were on the bus at the time of the accident.
Bus 20 will be used for transportation at this point in time for the yellow bus route.

Congratulations to Tim Zedler ~ Middle School Special Education Instructor who was a 2023 Spring recipient of a Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation Grant.
Mr. Zedler used the grant money to purchase Playaways for his students' use.

Congratulations to Paige Petersen ~ High School Ag. Teacher who was a 2023 Spring recipient of a Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation Grant.
Miss Petersen used the funds to purchase a chicken model allowing students to view the inside organs. The model comes with breed flashcards, chicken parasite flashcards, whiteboards to label body parts, and an incubation calendar of eggs. When students open the eggs, they can see the incubation stages of the chick growing inside.

New Teachers and their mentors spent the day Monday, August 21st, getting ready for the school year. Welcome to all of the new teachers and staff!



The boys and girls cross country teams had their first meet in Palmyra Friday. The boys placed 5th out of 10 teams. Earning medals were Carter Hahn, Dawson Doyle and Thomas Goldpaske. The girls brought home a 2nd place plaque out of 12 teams. Earning medals for the girls were Sasha Doyle, Zoey Bauer, Natalie Hargrave and Amber Weiss.


A reminder to parents to get your child registered for the 2023-24 school year before classes start on August 29th. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please call the office of the child where your child attends.
Thank you Michels employees for your donation of school supplies! Michels employees collected school supplies to be donated to the Lomira School District where the items were shared amongst the Lomira and Theresa elementary schools. Supply Drop Off Night for Grades K-5 is Wednesday, August 23rd from 4:30-6:00
Stop in to see your child’s classroom, drop off supplies and meet the teacher! While you are at school, walk to the cafeteria to “taste test” food from our school lunch program. If you need assistance with any school supplies, stop in at the school office. We have everything you need, thanks to many local businesses who donated school supplies for our students.
